Why I Love Allergy Eye Drops, but hate to put them in!
OK, I'm one of those people who loves to be outside, but hates allergies. Allergies are pretty much a constant part of my life though, between food allergies, and asthma, and pollen. Most of the year, my eyes don't bother me at all, but for about a month and a half- (early May to mid-June in Seattle) I find that my eyelids stick to my eyes. Given that it's summer and the weather is getting to "perfect" I just can't stay inside. I want to bike, walk, and rollerblade.
However, my eyes water. This is dreadfully annoying, as I'm sure anyone can imagine. Instead, I'll resign myself to putting in eye drops. This has always been an ordeal for me. Even though I was a swimmer and could open my eyes underwater, drops in my eyes is not enjoyable. For years, it took my mom making me lay down, putting drops in the corner of my eyes and then prying the lids apart with two hands. As I've gotten older, I can do this myself now, but I still end up dropping them into the corner of my eye with it closed, opening my eye, and then spinning in circles as they drops go to work... I"m sure it's pretty comical, really. Dropping them onto the skin though is causing some of the antihistamine cream I've been using on my eczema near my eyes. I really need to learn how to apply the drops directly in my eyes.
Actually, what I need is the eye dropper from the picture above. Their website is http://www.e-zeyemed.com/
It's true that you can get allergy outside of your house. If you are always outside you are very prone with allergies also.
